Conventional Drilling

Conventional Drilling is the process of drilling underground in a straight line.  Whether it be horizontal or vertical, conventional drilling is the most commonly used form of drilling.  Tunnel boring is also a form of conventional drilling.  There are multiple uses for conventional drilling.  The first and foremost is for drilling wells.  However there are other uses to conventional drilling, such as drilling underground walkways or waterways under busy highways and other above ground obstructions.

Guyer Brothers conventional drilling process consists of a drilling machine mounted to a set of tracks, and installing the proper size drilling tool at the end that will extend through the length of the bore.  An example of this process is shown on this page.  If you have any questions or uses for our horizontal and conventional drilling process, please contact us today and our helpful staff will be ready and willing to assist you.
