Directional Drilling

Directional drilling is the process of drilling underground in numerous directions in order to avoid obstructions such as bodies of water, rock beds, roadways, and other items.  This enables the ability to run underground pipe lines in those “hard to get to” places.  Other benefits and examples to directional drilling include:

  • Minimizes restoration costs
  • Where open cut is difficult or inaccessible
  • Minimizes costs for stone bedding or back fill
